Meet and Greet.

Welcome to your new home, everyone! It's been a bit cleaned up from its old decaying from before by the current characters, and even seems pretty livable now; fancy that. The Town looks more and more colorful by the day, and you're here to help that continue!

Here's your OOC meet and greet -- feel free to post to it as a new player/current player with a new character and please tag around as people are accepted into the game! This is a great way to get to know each other and let people scream about your brand new characters. So fill out the form below, post away, and get to greeting!

What to Expect: Vidya, animus, animal content. I'm also a Master's degree student in International Relations, so I get to go to class and bang my head against a wall about the state of global politics.

Characters Played: Akira Fudo | Devilman Crybaby | Red (+ All Might | My Hero Academia | Yellow)
Character Personality: Akira is a big dumb crybaby. He's very sensitive and empathetic, so if he can sense that other people are suffering, he's easily moved to cry for them. Because of his strong human heart, when a demon called Amon attempted to possess him, he was able to subjugate the demon to his will, leaving him with the body of a demon but keeping his own human heart intact -- in other words, he became a Devilman.

Since then, Akira has used his devil strength to fight for humanity in a covert war against demons. He seems brooding, edgy and intense, but under the surface he's a kindhearted soft boy who Cares Too Much, All The Time. please help him
Wanted CR: Akira doesn't have much by way of friends in canon, so any positive CR at all is a good starting point. Any half-demons/anyone similar to a Devilman that he can trust and confide in would be good, too. Also just people to cry at in general ig?? it's just kind of what he does, I'm sorry.

If anyone wants to find them before Akira does, Akira will also be showing up with the family cat (totally just a normal cat and doesn't ping as half-devil at all, coughs) and his motorcycle.

i gotta tell you right now we're gonna have a thread where miki goes "i hate that we call ourselves devilman unironically and it's all your fault"

but yeah im excited for demon friends, even if in canon they're mostly friends by association with the Better Miki.

but ACTUALLY, even though mogget isn't a demon, he's still a magical non-human creature?? and he's used to listening to people talk about their many problems, so! it could be interesting!! and ochako is always around for the sweet, sweet friendship, of course

CAT... Akira loves animals so he'll love Mogget just because he's a kitty, even if the kitty bullies him. Though if he learns he's a magical creature he might get grilled on whether he's a threat to humans or not :x pls be a good catte

And Ochako friendship would be cute...! He'd think she's pretty bc he thirsty, but he wouldn't actually bring it up or anything.

pls show okuni the motorcycle SHE'S VERY INTO AUTOMOBILES despite being ye olde Japan. she'll take it as a sign to pester akira forever...... which is 50% of a good thing maybe

he can show her!! He'll be trying to conserve fuel since it'd be hard to come by in Chroma, but he might let her ride on it with him if she asks nicely.

henlo i am here and I LOVE DEVILMAN ACTUALLY AND SO IM DYING TO HAVE CR WITH AKIRA HERE... tsumugi's also a huge sensitive baby but he has Issues when it comes to expressing them, haha...

a-anyway i think they can hit it off? they can cry together at the very least

That sounds brilliant. She'll take a while to warm up, I could imagine, but once she's taken a shine to him, he can do absolutely no wrong in her eyes.

Sin and Momo mutually bother each other a lot and is also from a crazy religious cult ended the world game, so the chance for good cr is strong

I'm canonblind but here for this! Since Ryo is friends with Dextera, too, Akira would definitely need to meet Dex and Sin.

Ooo, Beka is also someone who Cares Too Much sometimes, though she's very much the type to Do Something about it. She's also bringing a dog with her, which could be interesting with Akira's cat. Not that Achoo is the cat-chasing sort, but she might sniff something strange about the cat. Which could be interesting?

Pet interactions!! Sounds fun. If nothing else, Akira would want to pet any good doggo he comes across... Or maybe Achoo will be able to smell something is strange about Akira, too.

walks in here about 500000 years late, but...!! grips your shoulder, I see that Akira and Momo are roommates so if you wanted to do anything w/that, I'm 500% here for it!!

but even barring that, Momo's a pretty upbeat guy who would absolutely let Akira cry... he's terminally and embarrassingly positive and affectionate, so he's here for the warm friend hugs. i'm sorry for him in advance, tbh

You're fine!! and aaa Momo and Akira sound like they could get along really well, in that case. Even if Akira is going to be a strange roommate who eats a lot, makes weird growling and banging noises in his room, sheds fur on his bed...
