Beka is very good at calling people out for doing reckless, dangerous, ill-advised things! Also, in her world, she can talk to ghosts, so they might have some stuff there to talk about.

I’m not familiar with her canon, but you should know that wwx here is absolutely terrified of dogs, so if there’s anything at all doglike about her, he’s gonna run scared.

Oh no! She's not dog-like herself, Provost's Dogs is slang for essentially police in her world. But she is bringing her scent hound with her so there's that. Achoo is very friendly though!
