Welcome back to the Town, everyone! As soon as evening hits on 11/30, all of the characters will be deposited right back into the Town -- some more easily than others. You're being dropped wherever, so you might end up in the harbor or on a roof or who knows what.

Try to survive the trip back.

Either way, while the Town is still pretty snowy, it's much warmer than the Palace was, so enjoy your blessed relief.

Oh, and a few more things:

• Here's a fun fact: the majority of the curers in the last event were yellow! With that in mind, there's been a bit of a change in the Town. In Flavo, there is now a frozen lake, plopped right in the middle of the district. It's not too terribly large; it would take about ten minutes to walk around the entirety of it. But no matter how warm it gets, the lake will remain frozen over, year-round.
  
  This lake will allow any characters who peer into it to see a brief vision of something happening back home. It can be mundane, or life-shattering; we'll leave that up to you. Just keep in mind that it's very brief (no more than thirty seconds at most), and will often be very disjointed!
  
  The locations page has been updated to reflect this.
  
  
• Along that note, please be sure to respond here if you haven't already if your character was cured during the event and by whom!
  
  
• Becaaaause -- all of the characters who weren't cured will be receiving customized requirements to restore their hair/eye colors, which we will start handing out later this evening and into tomorrow.

For the visions they see in the lake, is it something that's happening at their current canon point or can it be something that happened before or something that's going to happen?

It can be of any of those things! However, they'll have no real easy way of knowing when these things take place, because they'll have no context!

Is it possible to break the ice and dive into the lake, like at the ice palace?

OH and how frequently can a character look into it to get a vision of home? Once a day/week/month? Would the headaches be an issue if a character went back and looked in regularly?

Ooooh, sounds fun. What about things that happened in a future that no longer exist because the past/present has been changed?

That would be fine as well! It'll surely only muddle the issue of whatever it is they're seeing in the lake, oops.

It's absolutely possible to break the ice and dive in! Unlike back at the ice palace, there won't be any real consequences either way; it's absolutely frigid water, and the ice freezes over quite quickly, but it's otherwise just like taking a dip.

Characters can look as often as they can stand the headache, honestly! If it happens regularly, said headache will happen quicker and quicker, but we won't put a hard limit on it -- just use your best judgement for what makes sense for your character! For example, a character with a high pain tolerance won't have too much issue looking multiple times a day, though if they do this consistently for a few weeks, the headaches will grow fiercer and happen more rapidly.

if two characters look into the lake at the same time, will they both see their own vision of their own future, or is is possible for characters to see each other's futures?

They will still only see their own vision! At this point in time, it's only possible for characters to peek into their own futures, not someone else's.

They can certainly try, though!

Tossing in another couple of questions about the lake's visions, just for reference--does the vision have to be something the character themselves would be involved in? Or could they see, for example, something that is or would be happening that they wouldn't be around to see firsthand?

And what about characters with variable futures? Could they possibly see a glimpse of one path once, and then another path the next time they look? Early otome canonpoints leave a lot of possibilities up for grabs, so I just want to check!!

The vision would have to be something they're involved in! The lake will give them glimpses of their own lives, not someone else's -- so as long as they're involved, it's something they'd be able to see.

Variable futures are totally fine though! One second he could see something from his own route, the next from another otome boy's entirely; go wild!
