Quest 33 Relics Coordination!
For Quest 33 we got various pieces of what appear to be 5-6 relics! I thought it'd be helpful to have a place where we can tell each other what we got and ask the mods what happens if we assemble them. As well, I hope we'll be able to put the results here so everyone can see them.
Obviously, this isn't meant to take the place of any IC coordination! Just so we can have all the information in one place for players...especially since these relics seem to be pretty powerful!
I'll make a separate comment for each relic. Reply with what your character under the relic you think it belongs under! When we have all the pieces and it feels like it can be assembled, we can go to the mods!
Afterwards, whoever got the information about the relics from the mods can post it here. Characters who brought together the pieces probably has to choose one person to hold onto it.
When we have everything I'll probably then compile it into some kind of Google Doc/Sheet for ease of future reference and in case anyone needs to edit in the future!
Compass: 4/4 COMPLETED
Egg: 3/3 COMPLETED
Grimoire: 4/4 COMPLETED
Spear: 3/3. COMPLETED.
Scepter: 4/4 COMPLETED
Lute: 4/4 PENDING
Shield: 4/4 COMPLETED
Moon Pendant: 4/4 COMPLETED
Total: 30/30 pieces

Naturally, piecing together the compass won't be that hard for the group; they just have to stick the pieces where they belong, and just like that, it'll be a functioning piece of equipment -- though it always, always points at the woods.
So here's the deal with the compass, and what anyone who holds it will know that it can do as soon as they touch it --
The compass can find ANYTHING in the woods. Previous things found on quests? It can find them. Previous encounters in the woods from other characters' forest scenarios? It can find those too. The only requirement is that a strong image of what they're looking for must be able to be envisioned -- in other words, if a character experienced something in the woods and Kaoru and co would like to go find that again, they'll have to bring along the character who initially experienced it.
However, the compass will lead them unerringly, and they won't run into any danger... though they may have to complete some tests, depending on what it is they try to find, because that's how fairy tales work.
It will, like all of the relics, only work once before the compass needle shatters into many small pieces. Just let us know at any point if you'd like to use it!

I was planning to do a forum post with Keigo asking what he should do with an egg, so hopefully that can get us together?

GRIMORE WRITEUP!
Hello! Thank you for putting it together!
The grimoire is going to require some work to put back together, naturally; they'll have to work very hard to figure out what order the pages go in (or just use Shiho's psychometry), but either way, once it's all been put together, the book will glow, and then close with a snap.
It feels very, VERY sinister. I wouldn't open it until you're ready to use it, if I were you.
The grimoire, they will know just from touching it, can bring one person back from the dead, skipping all of the typical death punishments. It will bring them back immediately, without any negative side effects for the person being brought back.
This can only be used once.
HOWEVER... there are some side effects for the person using it. The grimoire is a major drain on whoever is using it; it will require that the person using it sacrifice a great deal of their energy to make it work. This drain can be split across multiple people -- one person might be bedridden for a week, but if three people use it together, for instance, they might all just be very ill for a few days.
Again, it can only be used once, so use it wisely! Please let us know when it's going to be used. And if you have any questions, feel free to ask at any point!
SPEAR
no subject
here’s the info i got from the mods:
The spear hilt and spearhead naturally need to be attached; this can be as makeshift a job as the characters want, honestly. Even if they just try to glue it on or tie it on, it'll suddenly be properly fused to the spear hilt. However, they do have to attach it! Just holding the two pieces together won't do anything.
After that, they just have to polish it up; the grime will come off immediately, revealing a few carved runes that none of them will be able to read in the spearhead.
What any of them will immediately know upon holding it is that it is a very, very powerful relic, and this is what it does:
The spear that they have received is capable of killing ANY monster, creature or fairy tale figure that appears in Awash at any point. Ghosts, things like the bogeyman, quest creatures, anything at all will fall in one simple, easy blow from said spear.
Please be aware, of course, that depending on what they kill, there could be some mighty consequences or large shifts in what will happen next in Awash, so they'd better be at least a little careful with it! For example, if they kill a quest creature, that quest may be stricken from the record entirely, with consequences coming of that.
There's a lot of potential for it, but it can only be used ONCE; after that, the spear will shatter, leaving behind only the spearhead, which no amount of polishing or attempted mending will fix.
SCEPTER

I assume this means the bottom of the scepter...?

"Ignis' is what appears to be the top of what might be a scepter. It's gold and heavy and part of the metal is curved at the very tip, as though it was meant to hold something relatively large in size."

Lux's is a small bundle of strings, belonging to some manner of instrument. It is, sadly, only the strings. If she were to find the instrument they go to, who knows what might be revealed?

Re: OTHER
Yu's is a large, round orb filled with some kind of strange, swirling white mist. But for now, that's all it is. Maybe if Yu finds what it goes with, or fits into, that might change.
