Characters Played: IGNIS SCIENTIA | FINAL FANTASY XV | BLUE #2471A3

Character Personality: Area Man Perches Atop Lamppost, Thinks He's Batman, Is Not Entirely Inaccurate In This Assessment. Anyway! Ignis is one of the four protagonists of Final Fantasy XV, otherwise known as Final Fantasy: Roadtrip Simulator. Ignis is the prince's chamberlain, which means he's basically the most responsible and hypercompetent person on this earth, and he's also about as Team Mom as you can get! He cooks, he drives, he does first aid, he singlehandedly retakes an entire war-torn city from the chaos of an invading army because his prince is in danger —

...You know, the usual retainer stuff.

Anyway, on the day to day Ignis is polite and well-mannered but a little bit aloof and reserved, speaks with a posh accent, and can be a little bit of a difficult nut to crack at first! But he's incredibly loyal, is always ready and waiting with an absolutely devastating pun, tends to be the resident Smart Guy in any given conversation, and perhaps most significantly: is really good at cooking. STRAP IN FOR HIM TO HAVE A LOT OF OPINIONS ABOUT FOOD, KIDDOS.

Wanted CR: Oh, gosh, I really want him to find a couple of people aside from Noctis to get Really Protective Over because I love playing Ignis's possessive streak. Some confidantes and people he could associate with on a friendly level would also be great!

As a note, he's probably going to be all hells of paranoid coming into the game because at his canonpoint of choice he's just discovered that the big bad of the canon can alter his appearance to look like pretty much anyone else, so. Ahaha. That's awkward.

Ignis is such a good character, I feel so bad for his suffering and his canon point

But hello!! I'm Ash, I play Guren here who is his own sort of team dad in his canon, so I feel like he'd appreciate Ignis being who he is a whole lot. Even if he's too tsun to admit that sort of thing aloud, he loves people who have close friends and protect them and will do anything. He equates it with good people, so he'll have a good impression if that shines through!

I literally picked the worst possible canonpoint and cackled the whole way BUT ON THE BRIGHT SIDE I'm taking him from a playthrough in which he singlehandedly retook Altissia so like...silver lining? Sort of? PERHAPS.

(I like how you say "shines through" as though he's not going to immediately make a beeline for Noctis and hiss like an angry cat at anyone who gets within thirty feet of him.)

But hi, Ash! I'm Alex, and I am admittedly completely canonblind to Guren but it sounds like the CR between these two could be a lot of fun!

Guren is a giant mess so I feel like I can't briefly summarize him properly, but the takeaway is he's a big tsundere who cares sooooo much about good people he can't even hide it properly so everyone knows, even when he's mean. but I can't wait to see what sort of CR might come of it!

HE IS THE MOST RESPONSIBLE. Also he has been acting as the responsible chaperone for children literally his entire life so I expect he will fall into that role for a lot of people fairly easily!

oh my god, what a suffering canonpoint, I love it. POOR IGNIS...

I hope he suffers a little less in awash maybe. All I can offer is another quiet (slightly less broody) protag, but he can at least help with the cooking a little.

I had a lot of fun picking his canonpoint because he's literally at the coin toss between ACCEPT FATE and "okay but what if i just burn this whole fucking world to the ground" and i feel like if that's not an interesting approach to take, what is, really

I legitimately want him to adopt SO MANY CHILDREN. Possibly by their powers combined they can all get him to take a nap, or something.
