If he ever calls her a child she'd definitely get mad haha (she's sixteen and according to her that means she's totally an adult).

She doesn't cheat in the traditional way (with trick cards?? Or however it is that people cheat at gambling...) she uses her powers on games like poker to read what kind of cards are still in play, what cards other people have played, and stuff like that. Which is definitely still cheating but she would never acknowledge it. She's just using her natural-born talent ~~at cheating~~!

Lmao, then sorry, Shiho. Kyrie is generations old, she's hardly even a newborn to him.

Anyway, that's fair! That's effectively what Kyrie does, only he does so by memorization rather than magic. It'd be interesting to see who comes out on top in a situation like that.

So she reads things by touching them then? Like if she touched a person, she'd understand like, their emotions or something? I'm unfamiliar with the canon, sorry!

She will definitely not respect him if he's that old because she knows someone else who's also generations old (and is basically every white haired trope rolled into one and only manages not to be everyone's least favourite character because he's a giant nerd and no one in the series can take him seriously.)

Yes, that's pretty much it and no need to apologize! Hers is a pretty obscure canon so I'd be more surprised to see people familiar with it, haha. She's really powerful though so it's not just emotions but thoughts and memories, abilities, the state of their health, etc too. And if the person speaks another language she can also speak the same language while she's touching them.

Kyrie's entire personality is formed of the fact he's the only one who remembers Dorothy, and he's a Huge Bitter Ass about it. And the only way he can forget is to destroy his pendant, which would mean he'd go back to being a clumsy, forgetful sweetheart, aka he'd essentially be destroying his entire self along with it. So he's,, got a lot of Issues, tbh.

It's bad enough he's got a Super Obvious tell that he can't control (he's my sweet sparkledog son with his hair that grows one color and fades to another and also an eye that literally acts like a mood ring, he's a Mess.......), he's really keen on keeping his eye behind his bangs like he does for that reason. But if Shiho has the chance to read him he's going to hate it, he hates people knowing how he's feeling, lmao... That should be a Fun Time™!

Oh my goodness, I love this already? I want this to happen! Though we'd definitely have to plan this since Shiho hardly ever touches anyone unless she absolutely has to because her greatest fear (besides ghosts) is that someone would hate her for using her powers on them. That or using her powers on someone she considers a friend only to have them turn on her for using her powers?

She has a lot of hang-ups when it comes to using her powers, so this should definitely be fun haha

Understandable!! Obviously I don't imagine she's going to go around tapping everyone on the shoulder, but should it ever happen, I'm definitely looking forward to the Mess that comes with it.

Honestly I think their whole dynamic sounds really interesting. Kyrie's the type who, if he had a power like hers, would absolutely use it to his advantage and deal with the repercussions later. So if he finds out about her reservations, he's gonna think she's pretty stupid, to be blunt about it. But, she shouldn't be too offended, since he thinks anyone is stupid compared to him... Whoops.

Ahh, I'm super looking forward to this!! Their interactions are going to be so much fun!

Getting her to touch anyone is basically a chore and a half, and I think in her last game it only ever happened when someone was seriously injured and she happened to be there. (And afterwards she'd feel super guilty about it too...)

I feel like they're going to get along like a house on fire (with possibly no survivors) and I love it. And no worries, she definitely wouldn't get offended (especially because she thinks he's the stupid one and likely wouldn't hesitate to tell him).

Well, he already has some experience being lectured by a little girl... If anything, her pulling that sort of thing could actually endear him to her a bit, albeit reluctantly. It'll remind him of Dorothy a bit, and that's never a bad thing lmao.

Please, by all means, tell him when he's being stupid and rude. He needs someone to make him take a step back sometimes.

Having a generations-old senior finding her endearing is entirely too much like what happens in her canon and she will probably call him rude names for that... (Because the other senior he reminds her of? Also finds her endearing... even when she's threatening to shoot him in the crotch....)

Shiho would happy to fill that role (especially because she does this all the time even in canon haha...)

Oh man, he's used to being called rude names. He'll let it roll off no problem. If she can manage to actually get him to care about her, she gets like six gold stars for that feat alone.
