What to Expect: You're more likely to catch me on plurk, though I'm trying to get in the habit of always having discord tabbed. Outside of rp stuff, my plurk is almost all anime fandom and memes peppered with little things I find funny or annoying.

Character Personality: Kamui is a super-powered alien space pirate who likes to fight strong opponents to the death because he wants to be the strongest in the universe. If he likes you, he wants to kill you. You don't get a say. Also something, something, obnoxious smiling asshole with a sadistic streak, something, are friends a thing you eat?
Wanted CR: Fellow assholes/antagonists/murderers, some brains to balance out his brawn, powerful characters for him to stalk and pester, persistent friendly types who won't take his shit but will still stick around, altruistic types who feel obligated to stop him. With a character as fickle as Kamui, negative and positive cr can flip like a switch, so don't feel boxed in to just one type of interaction. Lay it on me. I will make shit happen.

I play Guren here. he's kind of OP so maybe he is stalkable, I don't know these requirements... but he's very strong and has a demon in his sword/heart that makes him stronger? also he can regenerate a lot thanks to that too... he's training everyone to defend themselves and also about friendship so it'd be hilarious to have someone who just wants to Fight Him imo, also he's used to being surrounded by weird types like this anyway, it's nostalgic

Hey, Ash! Good to be here! Guren definitely sounds like someone Kamui would want a go at. His definition of strength is pretty broad at this point (who'da thunk it, physical strength isn't the only kind in the universe, hot damn), and demon swords are A++. Also, please teach Kamui about friendship. Watch his smile melt off his face just before he charges in to break Guren's teeth.

really liked our thread! sadly, tdm isn't canon, but i'd be willing to handwave a first introduction at least so we dont have to thread all that again? i'm also fine with starting fresh, of course.

i'm already familiar with kamui and he's one of my favourite gintamas. josuke here is a big friendly bro but he's also the type to not ... take bullshit when it's thrown at him. we can have cr where he's calling out/trying to control kamui constantly ? (what good that will do ...) i just feel like kamui is going to frustrate him so much and i love that.

Awesome! I had fun with it too. If you'd rather handwave an introduction between them, we could forgo the fight. Say they were just two confused idiots sharing information in the most unhelpful ways. Kamui tugs his hair because he doesn't believe it's real, etc.

Oh man, trying to reign in Kamui is a thankless, long-suffering job (just ask Abuto), but someone needs to do it! If Josuke is up to it, I am so very down to have Kamui be a perpetual thorn in his side.

I'm pretty canonblind, admittedly, but yo! I'm Laci, and I play Kyrie, aka the sadistic asshole scarecrow. He's based on the scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz, so he's essentially a know-it-all and all too happy to take advantage of folks who aren't quite as gifted in the brain department.

I think these two could be fun to toss at each other, honestly.

Hey, Laci! I'm canonblind too, so we're on an even playing field, no worries. But hnnngh, this combination sounds like a match made in hell. It's brilliant.

In canon, Kamui strikes up a deal with a scheming samurai in which they each use each other to get what they want (toppling a nation and a sweet ass fight against another samurai respectively), so there is definitely precedent so long as Kyrie can put up with Kamui's willful stupidity.

Did someone ask for 'persistent friendly types' and 'powerful characters'? Because Kaoru fits both...she also seems to have incredibly low standards when it comes to who she considers a good person and I think Kamui at least meets the baseline requirements for that! :D

hey wind! i'm lucy, with two. the first is dave strider in red who has been in-game since the first round! he's from homestuck and is a weird teen who isn't as cool as he occasionally pretends he is. he's fairly friendly in the sense he'll talk to anyone about anything and he is easygoing enough to roll with any level of weird. the second is annabeth chase from the riordan chronicles in yellow, and she is Intense and Focused and coming in this round!

also, there is a friendship tournament/game day thing with sign ups if you're interested!

we played together in rec...anyway dave has. a lot of powers but ? isn't too interested in fighting so there's that

Hey again, Lucy! Congrats on Annabeth. Being able to roll with the weird is a top requirement for dealing with Gintamas, so that'll go over well at least. If you ever do want to play out a fight that Dave wouldn't be interested in, Kamui has been known to exploit weakness, insult relentlessly, and even kill other people just to get someone angry enough to attack him. The option is always there.

And the tournament sounds hilarious, though Kamui wouldn't sign up for anything. I'll have to have him crash the party anyway.
