Training/Spars Sign ups!

Hello!! I'm hopping in here right before I head out for the day to provide an ooc sign up sort of thing for Guren's post. Rather than have everyone spar or train with Guren, which is a little limited, I thought it would be fun for him to set people up.

The way this works is Guren will take a look at who agreed to help for teaching/sparring, and who agreed to have an interest in learning, and match some partners out of it! It's something you can handwave with people or work out threads every so often without a strict schedule, just assuming that Guren will check up on them every so often. (And icly, he will unless you'd like to request that he not.)

So! I'll have a couple threads below, and you can fill out this little form:

He'll be looking at matching personality types and wanting to encourage friendship, too, so anything that would help me choose for that would go here! <b>Is more than one partner okay?:</b> Let me know if you'd rather only get one piece of extra CR from this! Guren may find certain characters more flexible and able to work with more than one person, or maybe you want your character to both be a teacher and a learner, things like that.

If there are any other questions, just let me know below! For those who would like your character to be involved but they wouldn't ICly sign up, if Guren just assigning them someone out of the blue would help, fill out a form and let me know we're assuming that, since he's totally the type. I'll get to any questions and the rest of my tags once I'm home from work. Pair ups will happen at first by Friday, right before whatever the event is, but it's never too late to sign up! Guren will occasionally remind people over the network if it goes well and anyone who signs up late will get someone, even if it's Guren until others sign up again.

Extra: Fushimi won't use his own sword for sparring (but he'll use other swords to practice with) for Reasons; he's not allowed to do anything for a week or two because he's injured; he needs to be paired with someone Thick Skinned esp. if he's teaching, but he's willing to show people how to throw knives. not so much on the swordplay.

Also he's built like a string bean so don't expect any hand to hand. I'm cool with him being forced into learning hand to hand, though.

I’ve finished assigning everyone who signed up for combat training and exercises. Your new student is named Shouto, and username is #57A7C5. You’ve got a lot in common, but his attitude about it is better than your shitty one, so don’t be surprised if he surpasses you. This is just a tip, but focus on countering his “quirk” first and seeing what he does.

But I also assigned you two teachers, too. Nanjo #4FB6C3, and Dextera #030066. You can greet Nanjo right away, if you want, but while you’re still healing, focus on Dextera, first. He has a lot you can learn from.

Character weapon: He useeees swords, gauntlets, axes, bows and arrows, spears (brooms, stop signs--). Basically whatever he can get his hands on, nobody's got time to be picky when fighting Shadows. But mostly he uses a short sword, and that's what he brought with him into Awash. He doesn't really have a lot of technique, though, since he's self-taught with all of them, so he's probably not suited to being a teacher.
Extra: He's pretty much the most laidback person in existence, so if there's someone difficult who needs cajoling into things, he's probably your guy.

Character weapon: Good with swords and staves, though he has only a staff with him here. Can kind of cheat using his telekinesis-esque abilities by just yanking weapons out of people's hands (or breaking them apart on the spot but he won't be a dick and do that outside of a real fight).
Extra: Heeee is a butt so Guren will absolutely need to force him, but if someone's thrown at him, he isn't mean enough to abandon them. He's actually apparently not a horrible teacher once he's convinced?? As long as they don't mind his :/ attitude. Also as Guren has... probably seen... he's not the type to say anything more than what he needs to, so there's that.

Character weapon: sword! that's it that's what he uses. however it should be noted he is also Super Fast in the "looks like teleport spam, but actually is not, he's just fast" kind of way. definitely can be out-muscled, but basically speed is where 90% of his stats went
Extra: dave's not that competitive and is fairly chill on the whole. can be a sarcastic asshole tho...he's unlikely to really yell at anyone or lose his temper, although he, like, believes that Cheating Is Fair Game loophole wise in spars, and will pull completely random moves accordingly with casual ruthlessness (note: he doesn't actually like Hurting people though, so he'd pull his punches in that sense)

She's not really suited for being a teacher, but if someone really needs to learn she'll try her best. Tiny, but surprisingly strong for her appearance and hits hard. Stubborn, a bit sassy, and wears her heart on her sleeve.

Character weapon: His quirk! Usually long range, trying to freeze people to the ground, and using ice walls for cover. He can also use them for extra mobility by standing on his ice and moving around with what he generates.

His hand to hand is lacking. He put all his stats into special attack and left nothing in attack.
Extra: Relatively calm type. He doesn't go issuing challenges to his peers anymore, but he definitely has a competitive streak. Won't get mad at somebody for beating him, but it will mean he'll go back to training with extra vigor.

Character weapon: Can't really teach his crows, and he prefers rifles, but he has a pistol with him. If he can be lent a sword, he's handy with one of those too! His skillset is insanely vast though--swords, knives, pistols, rifles, shotguns, sniping, you name it. He might not be able to physically partake in more hand-to-hand stuff because scarecrow, but in theory he knows how to teach most common forms of combat.
Extra: He's not really up for being a general sparring partner for these folks because he's Very Fragile. But if he can be convinced/forced into teaching, he'll be really useful!! Kyrie is Rude, and ruthless when it comes to teaching though, so he'd need to be paired with someone who can handle some (mostly verbal) abuse and general unfairness.

Extra: Calm, polite, and soft-spoken. He's a logical guy who thinks things through, and it's hard to rustle his jimmies.

Character weapon: Hammers! John fights with giant hammers about the size of normal swords and generally swings them around and that is that. He is mostly his team's powerhouse and uses momentum and strength to get by in his fights. In addition he also uses the wind to sometimes help with his attacks because he sucks that way.
Extra: John's generally pretty laid-back and friendly and willing to help out anybody who asks for help. There aren't a lot of personality types he isn't used to by now and he is usually the one who's calm in tense situations. He's good especially to match up with people who aren't very comfortable around people/who aren't super chatty since he'll fill in the gaps, but he's pretty easy to work with in terms of people.

Character weapon: He's good with pistols, though his specialty is hand-to-hand. He can take quite a few hits as well, so he'd make a pretty good punching bag since he's incredibly sturdy. He's not a particularly graceful sword-fighter, but he can do that just fine as well.
Extra: He's against needless violence... and if you give him a child/teen, he won't be unwilling to teach them, but he'll be unwilling to spar with them. He's also liable to be a bit softer with the kids/teens, as he feels like he should be protecting them himself ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

He's pretty good at analyzing his partners/opponents, though, so he could probably help spot any weaknesses/areas to improve on if anyone needs help in that area. He's also extremely friendly and eager to learn, so he'd probably be willing to learn from and spar with anyone ever.

Extra: Akihiko is the Captain of the Boxing team back home, so it's fair to say he's used to teaching others and obviously will have sparred with teammates. He's pretty enthusiastic (okay, maybe a bit OTT) about training and improving oneself. I will say, he might be a bit awkward training girls because he's very protective but don't let that stop Guren from choosing one if they're a good match, it might actually teach Akihiko something.

Character name: Rin Okumura
Character weapon: Rin's demon soul is tied to the sword he carries, an ancient demon weapon called Kurikara. With it he can summon and control the blue flames he inherited from his father. Unfortunately while he has increased his skill and control he's only been wielding it (and the power) for about a year so he's pretty firmly in 'intermediate' status as a student. Luckily though he's learned to make his flames burn only what he wants to, and they simply feel warm to any human they touch.
Extra: Rin also has enhanced strength as well as quick regeneration/healing. Both something to keep in mind when pairing him off. He'll take a little convincing to get in to actual sparring, though. He doesn't want to hurt anyone, even accidentally, and while his flames are in good control he's still got that whole 'potential to accidentally punch you through a wall' issue going on. Also, he's kinda dumb. Like seriously book dumb. Big words and him don't mix.

Character weapon: Mostly knives/daggers, and his persona although he won't be revealing those at this time and likely won't use them to spar even after he does unless someone wants to have a magic fight. He also has his guns but they're fake and thus useless in the real world, but if he had a real gun he wouldn't be too bad at it.
Extra: Akira will try to make friends with just about anyone so he might be especially good for stubborn people haha.
