Hello everyone, and welcome to Awash’s December AC post! AC will be open all month long, and can be submitted until December 31st, 9 PM EST.

Because December is often a difficult month for people with winter holidays and many people have other obligations (including us!), AC this month will be a check-in AC -- with a bit of a twist.

All we'll require is that you submit any single thread with someone that you didn't thread with last month! Last month's AC is linked above -- so again, a thread of any length with someone you didn't thread with last month, from within the month of December will be enough to pass AC for the month of December.

If you are on hiatus for this month, you can either submit your AC as a hiatus, or submit a thread, and we will consider your AC complete and the hiatus unused, so you don't have to worry about that either.

Hello everyone, and welcome to December's monthly mod post! Here are your color changes and news for the upcoming month! Happy winter holidays as well! Please be sure to give especially the AC section a read.

Mechanics

• First off, AC has completed and has been processed. AC is now open for December. December's AC Post can be found here. Please note that due to December being a very busy month for many people, December's AC is a check-in AC with some basic requirements. Please read the AC post for more details!
  
  
• Characters removed via AC are:

• Applications will open again in January, on January 1st! At the moment, we have 12 slots for new players. We don't have any plans as of this moment for a new TDM for December with how busy December tends to be for everyone, but please let us know if it would help players to have one!
  
  
• This month's event will involve sign-ups for particular parts of it; with that in mind, we'll be putting the post up a little early so players have time to keep an eye out for it. It will be a little less intense compared to last month's event, both to give everyone a breather and also to allow for peoples' breaks from RP for the holidays, but it should hopefully give some insight into the past of the Town!

Quests

• Quests for December are now up! The OOC breakdown of said quests can be found below, as with last month. All quests have been posted ICly to the Quest Forum Post. Only quests for this month can be turned in for a reward.
  
  
• The Quest Reporting comment can be found here. As ever, please respond to that comment once the quest itself has been completed. When reporting the quest, please state what quest it is in the subject line; we've realized that that helps us a lot with keeping track over the past few months!
  
  
• Please be aware that Quests must be reported by the end of the month; this is because we use what quests are completed to keep track of what colors are restored for the next month!

Color Changes/Rewards

This month’s color changes are as follows (color changes can be tracked at the Color Timeline):

Color Gains:

• All new characters have had their text color restored, and the outside color of their houses. Their houses will all be shades of the district they live in -- for example, shades of yellow for Flavo.
  
• For completing all of the quests last month, the characters have restored the daytime sky. Blue skies are all theirs once again, after so long of waiting. The sky finally has color properly again, sans some very specific times, like sunrise.
  
  
• Through their efforts and bonding this past month, characters have also restored some specific, special holiday colors. However, you won't get to know what they are until you pick a thread from your color log to submit! Please choose one thread from your color log to submit here. Each player can submit one, and will get to see what that particular thread has restored! Please be aware the thread must be from the past month to be valid for this.
  
  
• Because the Ice Queen's throne was destroyed during the event, characters will find that they generally have a heightened immunity to the cold this month. It's not perfect immunity by any means, but they can at least hang out in the snow longer without being totally miserable!

Color Losses:

• The well has lost its oddly regained color from last month! But on the plus side, now it's no longer frozen over, either. It's just a regular old colorless well once more.
