Hello everyone, and welcome to July's monthly mod post! Please be sure to read all of this post.

Mechanics

• First off, AC has completed and has been processed. AC is now open for July. July's AC Post can be found here.

• We've added a Plot sharing OOC post, so that everyone can share what pieces of the plot their characters have uncovered to help everyone put it all together!
  

Plot

• The trees have been pushed back a fair ways due to the efforts of a handful of characters using their ink for that purpose -- but they're slowly starting to encroach again, all the more aggressively now. It seems the characters just managed to buy some time with that one.
  
  Now, if characters go near the trees in the woods, they will occasionally try to actively trip up or attack the characters with branches and roots. That'll make quests a little trickier.

Quests

• Quests for July are now up! The OOC breakdown of said quests can be found below, as with last month. All quests have been posted ICly to the Quest Forum Post. Only quests for this month can be turned in for a reward.
  
  
• The Quest Reporting comment can be found here. As ever, please respond to that comment once the quest itself has been completed. When reporting the quest, please state what quest it is in the subject line; we've realized that that helps us a lot with keeping track over the past few months!
  
  
• Please be aware that Quests must be reported by the end of the month; this is because we use what quests are completed to keep track of what colors are restored for the next month!

Color Changes/Rewards

This month’s color changes are as follows (color changes can be tracked at the Color Timeline):

Color Gains:

• For completing all of the quests last month, characters have restored the color of mountains. Granted, the only mountains that can be see are at the far edge of the woods, but with two of the three forest guardians defeated, maybe getting to the edge of the woods to see them is a bit more viable...?
  
  
• If your character has a color log thread from the month of June, please go here to submit a thread! After that, the mods will let you know what color that thread has restored.

Color Losses:

• From drops: Duck eggs, shirts, robins, bats, canaries, pigs, matcha tea powder, pine cones, firewood, straw, beer, avocados, church stained glass, mittens, will-o-wisps, lavender, library inner walls, house boat roofs, water, thread, cows, pepper jack cheese, pumpkins, persimmons, sleigh bells

July Activity Post.

AC Submission Form | AC Spreadsheet | Previous AC

Hello everyone, and welcome to July's AC post! AC will be open all month long, and can be submitted until July 31st, 9 PM EST.

AC requirements are:

• 25 comments over a minimum of two threads and a maximum of five threads
  OR
  
• One post AND a minimum of one additional thread and a maximum of two threads adding to 10 comments

AC Requirements for new players and new characters are:

• 12 comments over a minimum of two threads and a maximum of five threads
  OR
  
• One post and one additional thread of 5 comments.

Please keep in mind the additional requirements, due to the game's nature as focused on the bonds and CR formed between characters:

• You may use a maximum of 1 inbox thread for AC.
  
• You may use a maximum of 1 thread with castmates for AC.
  
• You may not use threads with the same characters as you used for the previous AC.
  
• A toplevel and all of its subthreads counts as a single thread.

Awash’s AC will be done via a Google form, which can be found here. More information about AC, clarification about AC requirements, the forms, and how to submit can be found here. Please be sure to give it a read!

You will also be required to link your character’s Color Post in their journal; this is so that we can tally up what large events happened over the month in question. In the monthly mod post that will follow AC’s closing, we will be listing out what changes have occurred based on the characters’ experiences and colors, so keep an eye out for that! If your character didn’t have anything big happen to them that month, it’s okay. Just link the Color Post anyway.

Please be aware that we will not be posting a warning list. We will post a generic announcement a day before AC closes to remind everyone that AC will be closing, but will not be generating a list of people who have not submitted their AC. We’ll be counting on all of you to keep track of your own AC and submit it when necessary! Please also be sure to check a few days after you have submitted said AC, to make sure that you haven’t miscounted or submitted the form incorrectly. AC will be checked by the mods every Monday at the latest. You can view your AC and check its status here.

Should your character be removed due to AC, we will not be accepting retroactive requests to remain in the game. Because it is a capped game, we believe this is the best way to be fair to everyone in the game who has submitted their AC.
