- There is no AC for the month of September.
- The majority of endgame will be happening this month -- so if there's anything your characters have needed to do or that you're desperate for them to get done before the end of the game, now's the time! Please don't hesitate to bring forward ideas to us, and we'll find a way to make it all happen. There are only two important aspects that are currently "plot-blocked" -- the hen from the fairy tale and the forest -- and those will be opened up this month for all character shenanigans. Don't be afraid to make endgame your own!
This is very important, so please give this a quick read! Now that characters have been experimenting with the book found beneath the Town, and some have even successfully managed to write in it, we wanted to set up a little bit more information so that everyone's in the loop on what's going on there. It took some experimenting, but thanks to the efforts of some of your fellow players, you've got some guidelines to go off of. The book is very important for endgame -- not necessarily for the fate of the Town, but for the fate of the characters going home especially.PlotThe book can be written in once per character. Each character can only write a sentence. Characters can only write about themselves (ie the characters in the Town), or the future of the Town to some extent; writing about anything else will cause the ink to disappear. (Don't be afraid of playing out failures -- characters can keep trying without using up their one allotted sentence until something they write sticks). Characters have a limited scope of what they can write. They can only influence a little by themselves (the general rule of thumb is "one small idea" or "one sentence"). If multiple characters write one line together, utilizing their bonds, a greater scope can be influenced. For example: a single character could write that, when they go home, they will retain their own memories of Awash. Five characters, writing together, could write that there will be a way for them to send letters across worlds (but only in their own worlds). Please don't have your character write things that are supposed to influence the entire game at large. Even if it ICly would work, OOCly we cannot enforce that every single character will be affected by something without player permission. If your character is going to write something about another character, please be sure you have player permission for it. For that reason, sweeping statements like "[Character] writes that every character in the Town has a sudden love for teddy bears" won't be plausible. Even if you gather up a huge force of characters, sentences that would immediately end the game (such as "they all lived happily ever after") also won't work. This is just due to the nature of writing an endgame -- we want to make sure everyone has the chance to contribute and see the game through to the end, and something like that being successful would end the game immediately. If your character has something to write, don't hesitate to shoot us a PM, and we'll go over what will work and what won't -- if you have questions, don't hesitate to ask. A list of sentences already written can be found here. Ultimately, the idea is that the characters are writing their own ending all together -- but this isn't the only piece of endgame, and is mostly relevant to the characters' own personal returns and futures.
Quests
- The creatures from the well continue to show up every now and then, though in much lesser numbers than in last month's event. They are much less threatening, considering there's maybe a trickle of three or four over the course of an entire week. Still...they're a little unnerving, aren't they?
- This month's endgame plot will have to do with the trees, and a mysterious little hen that might seem a bit familiar... Keep your eyes peeled for a bit more information in the upcoming month, and don't be afraid to bring up other pieces of the plot that you'd like to explore further via PM!
- There are no quests for the month of September that can be turned in for a reward. The final quest on the forum post is a little grandiose, but...hey, you get the idea, right?

The Book
Outcome: Doors now exist within the characters' basements for those who would like to participate. These doors cannot currently be opened.
Jeanne : “The book is purified and protected from malevolence."
Outcome: The book is protected from negative energy, dark magics, and anything along those lines; it cannot be harmed by malevolent attacks.
Artoria: "Suddenly, Artoria Pendragon held in her arms twenty fluffy, delicious obanyaki pastries as might be found in Fuyuki, Japan's Miyama shopping district: five filled with egg custard, five with chocolate custard, five with sweet red bean paste, and five with coconut cream."
Outcome: Artoria now has many delicious pastries. Hooray!
Keigo: "Each person will find a key to the door to their own world."
Outcome: A key that fits perfectly into each door to their world will be found somewhere in the characters' homes for those who choose to participate. Nonetheless, the doors still will not open.
Tonbokiri: "With the appearance of the keys, the locations of the hidden doors also became clear to the key holders - a special knowledge, only for those who have been to this town."
Outcome: As written, those who choose OOCly to have it happen will have characters suddenly have the knowledge of where their hidden doors to their homes are.
Akira and Minato: "The door to the Velvet Room is now open."
Outcome: The Door to the Velvet Room, found in the woods, will now be accessible by those who can access it (Wildcards from the Persona series).
Shiho and Kaoru: "Before leaving, each person will find a red pill and a blue pill. Eating the red pill will let the person remember their time in town and the blue pill will make them forget."
Outcome: The red and blue pills will appear in each character's home, one of each per character. They will know what the pills do. They can decide for themselves to remember the memories of the Town, or forget.
Dextera: "Dextera will be able to follow Guren home."
Outcome: Dextera will find a second door in his home -- a door that leads to Guren's world. In the end, he will be able to open that door, and follow Guren home.
Cairngorm: "Cairngorm will leave the Town and follow Arsène Lupin to London."
Outcome: Cairngorm will be able to enter Lupin's door, and follow him to London, instead of having to take his own door home.
Duo: "For those who stay, supplies to continue repairing and upgrading the town will become available inside one of the abandoned houses in Bluo."
Outcome: Some small amount of supplies will appear in one of the abandoned houses in Bluo once a week.
Rin: "Chroma Cafe will continue to run in his absence, providing limited amounts of food for anyone who stays in town."
Outcome: Chroma Cafe will not break down after the game has ended. Limited amounts of food will appear within it every week.
Thancred: "Though perhaps many trials awaited them- they knew they had been able to overcome others, and could face the future without regrets."
Outcome: For those who choose, characters will receive a boost of courage upon the end of their time in the Town.
Tristan: "Those who come after us will remember the sacrifices we have made for this realm."
Outcome: If anyone were to enter the Town after the characters leave, they will remember the entirety of the fairy tale the characters have left behind.
Akechi: "Having learned the meaning of true strength, and in keeping with a promise, Goro Akechi will always remember what is real."
Outcome: Akechi will remember all that has happened in the Town, his bonds, and everything he has learned there -- as well as anything else that might fall under that umbrella of "what is real".
Nero: "Nero Claudius's beloved Domus Aurea will remain after being summoned, its splendor and facilities, such as the metal workshop and kitchen, open to all."
Outcome: The Domus Aurea will remain in the Town properly, able to be accessed by any who remain or arrive in the Town following The End.
