What to Expect: Mostly game stuff, plus some memes and occasional commentary on irl happenings. Nothing particularly exciting. I comment a lot more than I plurk.

Characters Played: Henry | Fire Emblem: Awakening | Red (#CC0000)
Character Personality: Henry is a very cheerful, friendly guy who just wants to help out! He also has a fixation with graphic violence and body horror and dark magic and doesn't get why people think this is weird. These things combined make him a pretty offputting dude, unless you're comfortable with people who like to sunnily chatter about all the different ways they murdered people this morning. (In seriousness, I'll probably have to put up a permissions page for him at some point, because he drops this kind of thing into conversations without warning. Not everybody's cup of tea!) He also has difficulty with the idea that most people don't commit murder to solve all their interpersonal disputes, or bring up such habits in polite company. Actually, he has a lot of difficulty with socialization in general on account of being literally raised by wolves and liking animals more than people. Past that, though, he means well, and he really is one of the nicest dudes you'll ever meet, and he'd be happy to help solve your problems (his solution will be murder and/or a hex, full disclosure) and be your friend. Forever.
Wanted CR: Murder buddies would be great! Or, people to explain to him that wanton violence is bad, failing that. He'll latch onto anyone who gives him the time of day, really, especially if there's any sort of parental or caretaker dynamic involved--he's got major abandonment issues and I'd love to play those out with anyone game. Fellow weirdos would also be great as it's pretty much impossible to make him dislike you.

henry is one of my awakening faves and you are 100% allowed to be as disquieting as you like at dave at least??? go red ream...!

I am in fact an Persona myself (I actually play Katsuya from P2) though I haven't played P5 yet as I don't have a PS4, but spoil away! I would love some shitty evil teen bonding.

YEAH IDK HOW THEY'LL GET TO THAT SINCE HIS CODENAME IS A ~SECRET~ BUT. I'll find a way. I need my crow puns.

ALSO OKAY. On the outside, Akechi will have to lecture Henry for his murderous ways because this isn't what justice is all about! BUT ACTUALLY he'll relate a little too closely on the inside since, oops, he kind of does the same. And he's also an orphan with abandonment issues who can't really form any meaningful bonds. So he'll be really torn, it'll be great!! (also if you have a ps3, there's a p5 port for that, buddy!)

I don't have anything past the PS2 so I'm shit out of luck until I shell out or they do a PC port lol. BUT SOMEDAY

Anyway though I am already super game for this, it seems like he's basically Henry but with actual guile. Just corrupt the fuck out of this pure Innocent youth Akechi

i'm so glad to see henry........... awakening is one of my favorite games ever and i think dextera will do well with him considering he eats bones/flesh/hearts in his canon. weird gory murderboys... unite?!

Man all these canon familiar people now I have performance anxiety!!!!!

But nah if anybody will not judge Dextera for such habits, it is this dude, and that alone means I am all for them being friends. Maybe he'll even join in on the cannibalism, can't knock it till you try it right??

i’m not surprised when people have heard of baroque but i am surprised when people say they enjoyed it... thank you for this blessing... it’s a mess of a game that i wouldn’t ever actually recommend but i love it so dearly.

yeah I will admit I never actually finished it because I'm shit awful at roguelikes (plus it was years ago, I played it when the Wii remake first came out) so I'm effectively canonblind as far as the lore is concerned but it's got that dedicated Silent Hill kind of atmosphere that I adore

dang now I want to revisit it... I feel like I'm rediscovering a lost treasure

i don't blame you because it's a hard and impossibly confusing game to play without a guide.......... but yes the atmosphere i think is what captivated me so much!

there are some really excellent walkthroughs out there nowadays if you ever want to play it again but i also feel like stumbling through like an idiot is part of the charm

I.................... have neither the game nor the Wii console anymore and never got it for PS2 so I'll have to resort to Let's Plays, are there any you can recommend?

Henry is my FE:A fav, i'm so excited to see him here... i'm going to throw my eccentric artist boy at you and see how that goes... Yusuke's not really caretakery but he's not murdery but he's also not all THAT responsible so it SHOULD BE INTERESTING

Hiya, Sean! I'm Rubie! I play a dumb otome boy based on the Cowardly Lion! I'm unfamiliar with the FE canon, bbbbbbuuuuuuuuuutt...

A parental caretaker at your service~! Though, Caramia's really against needless violence, so I doubt he'd be too fond of any murder jams?? The protag from his game tried to learn to use a gun and he blatantly warns her against trying to use one, so I could see a similar conversation happening with Henry.

Hahaha oh man Henry won't respond to that at all which makes me want it all the more, he straight up doesn't understand the value of human life. If Caramia wants to try and reform this creepy feral child he has his work cut out for him and I am personally excited to see how he does.

FAILING THAT, Henry will probably like him a lot more than the reverse so he's stuck with him anyway, fun times!

Oh geez. I can just see Caramia trying too hard to help someone who won't get it. I can see him getting frustrated quite a bit. But he's too stubborn and proud to give up!!
